Meeting called to order at 7 pm by president Chuck Stirk
Attendance was 36 - made up of the 4 officers, 5 visitors ( 1 from Brookmeade , 2 from Willow Run,
1 from Faulkland Heights and 1 from Roselle) and 27 home owners and renters
Chuck reported on the crime report - total calls for service 114 broken down as PR's 27, NP's 72 A's Arrest 17 C's Tickets 68 W's Warnings 9 6 Domestic Disputes
Code Violations - William reported on the five home's that were reported to have had letters sent to them by the county. One on Centerville Avenue, Two on Ohio Avenue, One on Armstrong, and One on Albany.
Graffiti/Block Watch report - Chuck reported on the work that the CWS guys had been doing and how the block watch was working. Reported that we had one break in at 300 block of Ohio - broken by Peaches a 11 year old puppy.
Grant - reported to the meeting the amount of grant was $564.00 and that we had only spent $116.00 of it so far.
Gettier Security Driving - there was a representative from the company at the meeting who is also a new neighbor in the community - she said they do not want any problems between them and the community - asked that any cars seen riding the stop signs or speeding that we get car number or tag number call them and also tell them if it was a male or female driving the car.
Park Play Time - everyone was very happy with the event and asked that we keep them going till it gets to cold.
Woodland Park - we thank the people who have helped keeping the trash cans empty and the park cleaned up. We also thanked Jeff Swift from the county for the dirt to fill in holes, the paint to keep the park equipment clean, the new swings and he promised when the ground harden he would get the fallen tree branches cleaned up and chipped.
New Stop and Speed Signs - it was discussed getting speed signs for the development - 15 Mile or 25 depending on what the county will put in. It was also suggested to paint white strips and stop on the streets where the traffic is the worst.
Del dot Child signs - it was suggested on getting the child at play signs to be put in on the main streets where there is a lot of children playing.
New Parking Signs - was suggested to see if the county will post no parking signs in the block of Rhode Inland and Ohio.
Traffic Committee was suggested: We had two people whom said the would be willing to work on it

141 Construction Report - Chuck reported that there had been a problem with a home at 2405 Centre Rd had a sewer backup in their basement - according to Del Dot the backup had been cleaned up but the basement still needed to be sanitized and would be done. We plan on attending the Oct 11 or 14 meeting.
We also discussed that we needed people to attend this meeting to push for the speed on the road from Faulkland to Kirkwood Highway speed be kept at 35 miles an hour.
Lawn Waste - Glen Fuller brought the notes from the meeting he attended concerning the closing of the waste management sites - he reported that the site on Polly Drummond road would be kept open for at last another year. We need to contact our representative to make sure we let them know we need these sites kept open.
Yard Sale - was discussed there was some interest in doing it - the date of Sept 26 was picked as it is the same day Willow Run is doing theirs.
Halloween Parade - the date of Oct 24 was picked - the committee for the parade is made up of the following
young ladies

Prize money was discussed and where to have it was in the park.
Holiday Dinner - the Date of December 7 was picked. There was a motion to have the party held at the school instead of the church. Mr Wheatley said he would contact the school to see if it can be held there.
