Coffee with a Cop - 10 a.m. on Friday, October 7 in the Cpl. Robert L. Snow Training and Conference Center.

IThe County Police will host their Coffee with a Cop event on Friday at the Cpl. Paul J. Sweeney Public Safety Building.

Coffee with a Cop is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, October 7 in the Cpl. Robert L. Snow Training and Conference Center.Cpl. Paul J. Sweeney Public Safety Building

3601 N. DuPont Hwy.

New Castle, DE  19720

This event is an opportunity for the division of police to help facilitate informal conversation between police and members of the community.  Like the “Pastries with Public Safety” event held last year, community members are encouraged to have sit-down discussions with officers over a cup of coffee.

The Coffee with a Cop event was highlighted in the Final report of the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing as a way to build community trust and confidence.  As with many of our community-oriented programs, we are interested in hearing about what matters most to our residents to better problem solve.

Found - Missing Cat In Neighborhood

Hello,

I live in Brookland Terrace on Ferris Road & my cat just got out of the house for the 1st time ever.

Willow usually will come when she's called.

She's all black, long haired, & has a shorter body then a regular cat. She slipped out of her collar so she will be  without a collar. She's very friendly to people but does not care for other cats.

Could you please forward a message to the entire mailing list to keep an eye out for her?

I can be reached at 302-740-9233.

Thank you,
Melissa
