It has been brought to my attention that one of our neighbors is helping to raise money for this little girl who's family was killed in a automobile accident down state:
On Sunday, August 23, 2009, the Ward Family - John (33), Joy (32), Sarah (14) and Hailey (8) were involved in a head-on collision which left Hailey as the sole survivor. Hailey suffered multiple physical injuries as well as emotional ones due to this accident.
A benefit/fundraiser will be held for Hailey on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am at the Elks Lodge #307, 1310 Carruthers Lane in Wilmington (behind the skating Club of Wilmington). Tickets are $20.00 per person. Children are welcome to attend but do need a ticket. There will be food, music, cash bar, 50/50 chances, things to bid on and lots of fun! All proceeds will to directly to Hailey. Please come join us!!!
