Route 1/I-95 Interchange Christiana Mall Road Bridge Project Will Require Nighttime Closure of Route 1/7



WHEN: February 13 through February 16



WHERE: Route 1/7 Northbound between Route 273 and I-95

Nighttime Closure from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. February 13 and February 14



Rain dates: February 15 and February 16 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.



Detour: Traffic will be detoured at Exit 162/Route 273, at the bottom of the ramp make a left onto Route 273 and follow to I-95. Take I-95 northbound to Exit 4B/Route 7 North. Alternate: Christiana Mall traffic can continue to Route 1/7 to Exit 164/Mall Road.



Route 1/7 Southbound between I-95 and Route 273

Nighttime Closure from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. February 15 and February 16



Rain date: February 17 from midnight to 7 a.m.



Detour: Traffic will exit at I-95 southbound, take Exit 3/Route 273 eastbound and return to Route 1. Through traffic will take Route 1 southbound. Mall traffic will take Route 1 northbound to Exit 164/Mall Road.



WHAT: Mumford & Miller Concrete Inc., will be removing the bridge forms for the on-going Route 1/I-95 Interchange-Christiana Mall Road Bridge project.



Variable message boards will be placed to notify motorists of the upcoming road closure.
