Closure of Ferris Road for Reconstruction
Beginning Monday, November 9

Prices Corner – The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists that Ferris Road at the southbound Route 141 ramp will be closed effective Monday, November 9 for reconstruction. This project should take approximately 30 calendar days, pending weather. Local residents and emergency vehicles will have local access.

Detour Route: Route 141 southbound to Exit 5 and travel northbound on Newport Gap Pike. Motorists can either turn right onto Old Capitol Trail to pick up Centerville Road or continue northbound along Newport Gap Pike to pick up Kirkwood Highway.

The Route 141 project is designed to improve safety, relieve congestion, improve and add pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and enhance the area’s aesthetics. Greggo & Ferrara, Inc., began construction in fall 2007 and will continue through 2010.
