Notes from November 2, 2009 Meeting

Meeting called to order aft 7:15 by Charles Stirk

Meeting was attended by three officer's President Charles Stirk, V/P Phil Weir, Secretary William F. Wheatley and 5 home owners plus our Councilman Tim Sheldon.

Crime Report - there was nothing really outstanding to report, a minor attempted break-in. A Car Theft which ended up with the police catching them.

Rumor is that we have a gang starting up in the park going by the name of Kings or by Kingsman with the color purple as their's of choice.


Holiday Dinner - decision was made that it will be held at the church the same as last year on December 7, 2009 at 6:30. With set-up the night before December 6 - we will check with the church to see what time we can get in to set-up. A news bulletin will be done and sent out to the neighborhood for them to RVSP and let us know what they are bringing.

Halloween Parade - we had 14 young man and women come out for our first in a long time parade.
We like to thank Sharon Cole for a job well done. We also would like to thank the judges who came and judged Wendy Scully (owner of Anne's in Elsmere) , Cherly (from Anne's) and Phyllis from Willow Run Civic Club. We stay under the budget of $265.00 by $12.50.

Dues as of 11-02-2009 have been paid by 173 house for 2009 and 7 for 2010, and a donation of $100.00 from Old Mill Manor Civic Association to help the Anti Graffiti Brigade to continue their good work.

Tim Sheldon brought it to our attention that a house built on Walnut Street might have not been connected to the sewer properly and that his office would be following up and letting us know of the outcome. Thanks to calls made by a resident on that street by the name of Lisa Cristofich. Complaint #E5002-FW.

Sept. 13, 2010 at 7 pm second Monday of the month as the first on is Labor Day.
