there is a serious blockage at the S curve by the West Bridge.
East BrooklandAve.
We would have liked to summated a more detailed map / report of blockages and other deficiencies in the Little Mill Creek basin through NCC Woodland Run Parkland .
Both Pam & myself have had Multiple Blockages in the Little Mill Creek basin reported to us .
I do know more then a dozen trees fell due to wing & lightning strikes in the 9/10 Jan storm in the wooded section on the West Bank in the 300 blocks of Brookland Terrace .
- Behind the 1100 Block of Wagoner Dr there was a large trunk that fell in the 9/10 Jan storm that blocked access to the NCC SewereRight of Way & For grass cutting of the Right of Way for maintaining access . This downed trunk very well might be in the creek causing on of the blockages .
- Also Behind the 1100 Block of Wagoner Dr there was a tree fallen in the storm water ditch . This downed trunk very well might be in the creek causing on of the blockages .
- There is the tree fallen across the Little Mill Creek at East Brookland that had been previously reported in 2023 .
- Also As a result of the 9/10 Jan storm multiple other trees fell near & into the creek through out Little Mill Creek basin .
- We have observed increased insedences of water over the banks with some flooding at the 1” of rain mark that would indicate a reduction of flow of the creek .
While this blockages & other deficiencies are not as bad as the flow rate due to blockages back in 2020 , where 1” of rain would have the entirety of NCC Woodland Run park flooded with water running onto many of the adjacent residents parcels , it is obvious that we are progressing towords a greater frequency of serious incidences .
We will strive to get a more detailed deficiencies survey map of blockages & other deficiencies in the Little Mill Creek basin through NCC Woodland Run Parkland Ahead of our Park Clean Up April 20th 2024 9AM Saturday .
Your attention in these matters are much appreciated .
