Cleanup of fallen trees/debris in the Creek below East Brookland

The NCC Construction Support crew came back yesterday and finished the cleanup of the debris in Little Mill Creek at the bottom of our drive, hauling away two dump truck loads. I also asked them to remove two trash sycamore trees next to the 141 bridge that were obscuring our vision when pulling into 141, which they did.

They came back today with a load of soil, hand graded the Bobcat damage, and seeded the area.

They actually just came back and spread straw over the newly seeded area.

They really did a great job.

A county crew is now cleaning up the massive amounts of debris blocking the creek. They have taken one truckload away so far, and expect to be at it all day. They think it is unlikely they will finish today, but at least it will be a great start.

We have called Frank Graves about taking down a huge dead beech tree in front of 5 E. Brookland Ave several times, to no avail. It is a major safety risk due to falling limbs over the years.
