Dear Neighbor,
During the overnight hours tomorrow (Tuesday, March 19th) and Wednesday, March 20th, ramp closures will be in effect along I-95 at the Route 202 Interchange. For more information on the closures and expected detours, please see the article below.

Also, please mark your calendar for a recycling event that will be taking place in our area. On Saturday, April 27th, you are invited to drop off your used electronic goods to have them recycled for free at Barley Mill Plaza. You may also bring up to two boxes of paper to have shredded. Details on the event are in the story below. Hope to see you there!

TRAFFIC ALERT - Ramp Closure along I-95 at U.S. Route 202 Interchange

Willmington -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is advising the traveling public that replacement of barrier wall work will require ramp closures along I-95 at the U.S. Route 202 Interchange.

The northbound Exit 8 ramp of I-95 onto southbound Route 202 into Wilmington will be closed Tuesday, March 19, and Wednesday, March 20, from Midnight until 5 a.m. for barrier wall replacement

Traffic normally exiting Exit 8 southbound will take the Exit 8 ramp to northbound U.S. 202, follow U.S. 202 making a right onto Weldin Road, make a right at Foulk Road, and make a left at U.S. 202 southbound (Concord Pike).

Variable message boards will be placed to notify motorists of the upcoming closures.









FREE electronic goods recycling and paper shredding event on Saturday, April 27th at Barley Mill Plaza

Join Reps. Hudson and Joe Miro and State Senator Greg Lavelle as they host a recycling event in the Barley Mill Plaza parking lot on Saturday, April 27th between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Residents can drop off their used electronics to be recycled for free. Free paper shredding (up to two boxes) will also be available at the site. The recycling event will be held rain or shine!
