The Polly Drummond Hill Road Yard Waste Site - This site will close permanently on June 30, 2019.

Yard waste is plant material that comes from lawn maintenance and other gardening and landscaping activities. This includes grass clippings, leaves, prunings, brush, garden wastes, Christmas trees, and tree limbs up to four inches in diameter. Yard waste was banned for disposal from all Delaware landfills as of 2007.

NO BAGS, NO LUMBER, NO DIRT, NO ROCKS; ONLY loose yard waste. Branches must be 4” diameter or less. Free drop-off for Delaware residents only, NO landscapers or businesses.
Open through June 30, 2019. Saturdays and Sundays only, from 8 a.m. until sunset.
(Across from the entrance to the Judge Morris Estate)




Polly Drummond Hill Road Demonstration Site is now open. The site will be open Saturdays and Sundays only, from 8:00 a.m. until sunset, until it closes permanently on June 30, 2019.
