County Executive to host community town halls this spring
New Castle, DE – New Castle County residents are invited to join County Executive Matt Meyer and county leaders for a series of Community Town Halls this spring, beginning on Thursday, April 18 in Odessa. During each Town Hall, County Executive Meyer will summarize his proposed Fiscal Year 2020 Budget and engage with residents about the local services they receive. Each Community Town Hall will feature a brief informational presentation followed by a question and answer session. These events follow the recent release of the County Executive’s proposed Fiscal Year 2020 budget thatbuilds on the historic success in public safety, improved public services, and government efficiency achieved in over the past two years.
“Please join us at Community Town Halls this spring as we share information about the many services provided by county government and engage in dialogue with residents about our work to save lives, protect the public health and drive our high quality of life,” County Executive Matt Meyer said. “We welcome your questions and ideas.”
