“A signal tech was dispatched on 1/30/19 found that the westbound loop was faulty and placed this movement in recall until the loop can be replaced. Recall means the traffic signal will always cycle and provide time for the westbound movement, even if there are no vehicles present. This may make motorists perceive the signal is not cycling properly (i.e. they have a red light and see no one else is moving).
One of our supervisors will monitor the signal and try to reduce the amount of time being provided to the westbound movement.”
I am waiting to hear about the replacement of the loop!
I will keep you updated.

We have had several reports of the Traffic Light Centerville & Greenbank functioning correctly , not cycling or cycling but skipping sections of cycle .
Several weeks back on a Sunday there was a power outage where a generator was needed to power the intersection .
“I would like to make you aware of a traffic problem. The light does not trigger when you are heading on Greenbank Road (East Bound ) towards the Greenbank Mill at the Centerville Road intersection unless there is traffic in the left turn lane. I have witnessed people in the right lane run the light because they are tired of waiting for the light to change.”
I have personally experienced the issue a couple of times , but hadn’t isolated when the light did & didn’t trigger .
A New Traffic control signals had been installed at Centerville & Greenbank / Faukland Roads in Fall of 2015 that greatly improved the flow at these intersections & the quality of life of us & our neighbors
Your attention in this matter is greatly appreciated
