New Castle County property owners can use this calculator tool to learn how the proposed New Castle County budget will affect the amount they are billed for county property taxes.
Important Note: County property taxes are a small portion of the total annual property taxes billed to New Castle County property owners and account for twenty to twenty-five percent of a total property tax bill, on average. The proposed county budget would increase the average county property tax bill by $65 per year, or $5.41 per month, or 18 cents per day. School taxes, which account for most of the property taxes billed to New Castle County property owners, are not impacted by the New Castle County budget.
