When snow is forecast please make every effort to move cars off the street so we can do the best job of plowing

-The 100 Block of N.Woodward is a particular difficult street to plow due to the lack of off street parking , as are sections of Ohio & Armstrong Ave .

A Big Thank You to the 90 neighbors who have paid their Civic Club dues

Dear Neighbors ,

We are off to a good start with our annual civic club dues drive with 90 neighbors having paid dues in 2012 .

The cost of membership is still $10 . We our hoping that everyone will do their fair share and pay their dues in a timely fashion .

The past two winters with higher then average snowfall have been a serious financial hardship on the civic club .

Thanks to the Del-DOT partial reimbursement program we were able to pay for plowing and still provide many activities for the community .

We would again like to remind everyone that you do get a lot for your $10 . We host many community events , We provide newsletters & a blog containing current events . We work with local governments to strive towards improving our community . And yes we do plow . Please remember the plowing is restricted by the amount of dues we collect .

This is your community and we are only asking that each household do their part to ensure that we are able to continue to provide all the above services that go into making Brookland Terrace a great place to live .
