Brookland Terrace :: New Castle Conservation District Project 1793

 

 

 

 

Attached are the proposed preliminary plan for the Brookland Avenue project.  We received the signed Access Agreements from the residents at 301 and 303 Brookland Avenue.  We did not get any response from the residents at 200, 394, and 396 Hillside Avenue.  We have pulled the Record Plan for Davis Terrace and it does show a 25” drainage easement for the ditch.  This will provide our contractor with enough room to construct the project.  I also attached the Record Plan. 

 

As discussed, we will send out a notification letter to the residents at 200, 394, and 396 Hillside Avenue explaining that we are proceeding with the project.  I will also finalize the plans and get the project ready for bid.

There are multiple Del-Dot Street lights out on 141 corridor between Brookland Terrace & Brack-Ex Roselle . 

Issues with lighting in this have been reported multiple times over multiple years 

When can we expect these Del-Dot Street lights to be replaced or repaired ? 

Why were these Del-Dot Street lights not replaced along with the majority of lights in the Rt2 / 141Area ? 

It is growing tiresome talking about street light outages in the same 141 corridor yet again . 

 

 

 

I will remind everyone that this is the portion of the 141 corridor where a majority of fatalities have historically occurred .
